Lace sets the shape. Straps set the hold.

Two Systems, One Brace
The lace sets the shape of the ankle brace before any strap is touched; the two elastic figure-8 straps then set how firmly it holds. A wide elastic cuff closes over both and keeps the strap ends flat so nothing catches inside a shoe.

Loops You Can Actually Pull
A fabric loop is sewn to the end of each strap, so you hook a finger in and pull with your whole hand rather than pinching webbing between finger and thumb. It sounds trivial until you notice how much firmer the finished brace is.

Four Steps To Set It
Foot in with a sock on and lace it off, first strap under the heel and back up, second strap crossed the other way, cuff closed over the top. Fussy the first two times, routine after that.

A Boot, Not A Bandage
Durable nylon, real eyelets, a padded tongue and a shell that holds its shape — but cut low enough to go inside a court shoe over an ordinary sock. It behaves like taping you can re-use rather than like a stretchy sleeve.

Pull it properly. Then it stays pulled.

How we compare.
What a laced figure-8 brace does that a wrap or a roll of tape cannot.
Frequently asked
questions.
The questions people actually ask before buying one.
Measure around the ankle bone with a soft tape and read the chart in the Sizing tab — XXS covers 9" to 10" and it runs up to 3XL at 16" and over. There is also a published shoe-size cross-reference split by narrow, regular and wide feet. One catch worth repeating: this maker says to size DOWN if you land between two sizes, which is the opposite of most braces.
They let you pull each strap with your whole hand instead of pinching the webbing. That gets the ankle brace to the tension you actually intended, which is usually firmer than what you manage without them.
Once you have set the lacing you like, you can usually loosen the cuff and the straps, slide the foot out and put it back on the next day without re-lacing from scratch. Most people re-tie only every week or two.
That is what it is designed for. It goes over an ordinary sock and inside a court shoe or trainer with the laces let out a hole or two. The elastic cuff keeps the strap ends flat so nothing snags.
The same brace fits either, so the only decision is the size. Order two if you want one on each side.
Loosen the laces, close the straps onto themselves and hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent, then dry it flat. Avoid the tumble dryer and the radiator — heat is what takes the life out of the elastic cuff.
