Nobody wears a support belt cinched tight for eight straight hours, and nobody should. On a real shift you pull it snug for the lift, then let it off while you walk, log the pallet or wait on the forklift. That is exactly when a plain belt slides down over your hips and has to be hauled back up for the next one.

That is what the suspenders are for. Loosen the belt and it stays sitting where it belongs, at your waist, ready. They unclip when you would rather not have them — over a shirt in July, say — and the belt works perfectly well on its own.

The body is nine inches of firm elastic across the back, tapering to five and a half at the front. The tall back is what spreads the load across your whole lower back rather than a narrow strip; the lower high-cut front is what lets you bend and crouch without the top edge folding into your stomach.

The webbing has a rubber track running through it that grips your clothing, so the belt stops migrating up your back through the morning. That is the small annoyance that ends with the support sitting an inch and a half above where you set it.

Eight sizes, XS through 4XL, covering up to a 58" waist. Measure at the belly button with a flexible tape rather than going by trouser size.

Measure right around your waist with a soft tape and match it to the chart below — these are this belt’s own measurements, not a generic guide:

  • XS – waist up to 25"
  • S – waist 25"–30"
  • M – waist 30"–34"
  • L – waist 34"–38"
  • XL – waist 38"–42"
  • 2XL – waist 42"–46"
  • 3XL – waist 46"–52"
  • 4XL – waist 52"–58"

Use a flexible measuring tape around your waist at the belly button. Back support height 9", front 5.5".

Between two sizes? Take the larger one for a gentler fit, the smaller for a firmer hold.

WIDE WHERE IT COUNTS

9" Extended Support Body

Nine inches of firm elastic across the back spreads the load over your whole lower back instead of a narrow band. The front comes in at five and a half inches so it does not fold when you bend.

Detachable Suspenders

Loosen the belt between lifts and the suspenders keep it sitting where you put it instead of dropping onto your hips. Unclip them entirely on the days you would rather go without.

High-Cut Front for Movement

The contoured front is cut lower than the back, so the top edge does not dig into your stomach when you fold at the waist. You can work in it rather than stand still in it.

IT STOPS RIDING UP

Rubber Track Webbing

Textured rubber in the webbing grips the fabric of your clothes, so the belt holds its position through a shift. Support sitting an inch too high is not doing the job you put it on for.
