A knitted wrist brace sleeve gives you exactly one tension, forever. That is fine until the set you are about to do needs more, or the drive home needs less. An adjustable wrist brace lets you change your mind.

This wrist brace is two pieces working together. A short neoprene cuff closes around the wrist first and decides where the support sits. A long elastic strap then wraps over the top of it, two or three turns, and decides how hard the wrist brace squeezes. Because the position is already set before you start pulling, you can go genuinely firm without the whole thing sliding down your hand.

The wrist brace goes on in about five seconds and comes off one-handed, which is the only speed that survives contact with a gym. Reinforced stitching at the stress points, a lined inner face so the edge does not bite, and a hook-and-loop tab that still grips after a season of the wrist brace living in a kit bag.

What it is not: this is a flexible wrist brace, not a rigid splint. There is no metal in it and it will not hold your wrist at a set angle while you sleep. It is for the barbell, the moving boxes, the long day of typing — support that is there when you ask for it and out of the way when you do not.

One size covers a 5" to 10" wrist, both wrist brace wraps are identical and neither is handed. Two in the box, so one lives in the gym bag.

TWO LAYERS

One Layer Holds, The Other Tightens

The inner cuff goes on first and decides where the wrap sits. The outer elastic strap then wraps over it and decides how hard it squeezes. Splitting those two jobs is why you can get it tight for a heavy set without it having crept out of position first.

THREE STEPS

On In About Five Seconds

Between sets you do not want a puzzle. Inner cuff closed, outer strap round twice, press. It comes off the same way with one hand, which matters when the other one is still holding a bar.

WHAT IT IS MADE OF

Built To Be Pulled On Hard

The outer strap is a proper elastic weave rather than a stiff band, the stitching at the stress points is reinforced, and the inside is lined so the edge does not bite when you crank it down. This is the part that decides whether a wrap lasts a year or a month.

AGAINST A SLEEVE

Why Not Just A Pull-On Sleeve

A knitted sleeve gives you whatever tension it was knitted at. A wrap lets you go firm for a heavy set and loose for the walk to the car, with the same piece of kit. The trade is that you have to actually wrap it, which takes five seconds.

Support you can dial up and down.

Frequently asked
questions.

The questions people actually ask before buying one.

Two identical wraps. Neither is handed, so wear one on each wrist or keep the second in a gym bag. One size fits a wrist of 5" to 10" (13–25 cm).

No. There is no metal in it and it does not hold the wrist at a fixed angle. It is a flexible wrist brace for support during activity. If you want your wrist immobile overnight, look at a splinted brace instead.

The inner cuff sets the position and the outer strap sets the pressure. With one strap doing both, pulling it tighter also drags it out of place — which is exactly what a single-band wrap does by the third set.

Snug and supportive, not restrictive. If your fingers start to tingle or go cold, it is too tight — loosen the outer strap a turn.

Yes, that is a lot of what they are for — pressing, front squats, kettlebells. They add firmness across the joint. They are not lifting straps and will not hold a bar for you.

Yes. Wrapped, the whole thing is a couple of millimetres thick and sits below the hand, so a shirt cuff goes over it without a fight.

Hand wash cool with a little mild detergent, press the water out and air dry flat. Fasten the tab down before washing so it does not chew the elastic.

Free U.S. shipping and a 30-day return window, so you can measure, wear it for a few nights and send it back if the fit is wrong.
