You do not get a say in what your wrist does once you are asleep. It curls in under the pillow, or folds back under the weight of your own arm, and it stays that way for hours. Taking that decision away from you is the entire job of a rigid wrist brace.

This one does it with a shaped stay that runs the length of the forearm and carries on under the palm, turned up about 15 degrees so it follows the curve of your hand instead of flattening it. Once the wrist brace is on, that angle is set and it stays set. Your fingers and thumb are completely free — the brace stops short of the knuckles — so you can still reach for a glass of water without taking it off.

The strap is one continuous piece. It crosses the palm, then the middle of the wrist, then the forearm, and a single pull sets all three at once. That sounds like a small thing until it is 2am, the lights are off and you have one hand to work with: a wrist brace with three separate tabs is a wrist brace you stop bothering with.

Eight hours under a duvet is where most supports come undone. The shell here is an open three-dimensional mesh rather than solid fabric, so warm air moves out through it instead of collecting against your skin, with microfibre along the forearm and a smooth panel across the palm where the load sits. The whole wrist brace weighs 77 g. Being straight about it: this is a firm brace, not a stretchy wrap — if you want something you can bend your wrist in, this is not it.

Order it for the hand you actually mean to wear it on. A left wrist brace and a right wrist brace are mirror images rather than the same part, and the wrong one will not sit flat against the arm. Sizes run XS, S/M and L/XL from your own wrist measurement, so the wrist brace closes where it is supposed to instead of gaping at one end.

These are this brace’s own published measurements, not a generic guide. Measure right around the wrist, just below the bone that sticks out. If your measurement lands right on the line between two sizes, take the smaller one.

  • XS – wrist 5.1"–6.3" (13–16 cm)
  • S/M – wrist 6.3"–7.9" (16–20 cm)
  • L/XL – wrist 7.9"–10.3" (20–26 cm)

Then pick your hand. Left and right are mirror-image parts, so choose the side you actually want to wear it on — the other one will not lie flat.

CONTOURED STAY

It Holds The Angle For You

A shaped stay runs under the forearm and carries on under the palm, turned up about 15 degrees so it follows the curve of your hand rather than flattening it. Asleep you have no say in where your wrist ends up — the stay decides for you, and it decides the same way all night.

SINGLE-PULL STRAP

One Pull Sets All Three Points

The strap wraps the palm, then the middle of the wrist, then the forearm, in one continuous pull. That matters at 2am with one hand free and the lights off: you tug it once and it is on, instead of hunting for three separate tabs.

BREATHABLE SHELL

Air Goes Through It

The outer shell is a three-dimensional mesh — the seller counts over 30,000 openings per square centimetre — so warm air moves out instead of collecting against your skin. Eight hours under a duvet is the real test of a wrist brace, and a solid fabric shell fails it.

SOFT LINING

Nothing Rubbing At 3am

Microfibre against the forearm and a smooth silicone panel across the palm, so the parts that carry the load are not the parts with an edge on them. At 77 g the whole thing weighs about as much as a slice of bread, which is most of why people forget it is on.

Frequently asked
questions.

The questions people actually ask before buying one.

Pick the hand you want to wear it on — a right-hand wrist brace and a left-hand one are mirror images, not the same part. The stay is shaped for one side, so the wrong hand will not sit flat. Choose Right or Left at the top of the page.

Measure right around your wrist with a soft tape, just below the bone that sticks out. XS covers 5.1" to 6.3", S/M covers 6.3" to 7.9", and L/XL covers 7.9" to 10.3". If you land exactly on the line between two, take the smaller one.

Yes. It is 77 g and the fingers and thumb are completely free, so you can type, hold a phone or drive in it. It is a firm wrist brace though, not a light wrap — most people wear it through the night and take it off for anything that needs a bent wrist.

It sits in a sleeve along the underside of the brace and can be slid out if you want a lighter feel or before washing. With it out you have a soft support; with it in you have the rigid hold the wrist brace was designed around.

The shell is an open three-dimensional mesh rather than solid fabric, so warm air moves out through it. It will still be warmer than a bare wrist — nothing you strap on for eight hours is not — but it does not turn clammy the way a neoprene wrap does.

It is slim on the back of the hand and the bulk sits underneath the forearm, which is the side you are least likely to lie on. Side sleepers who tuck a hand under the pillow usually notice it for the first night or two and then stop.

Slide the stay out, hand wash the shell in cool water with a little mild detergent, and let it air dry flat. No machine, no tumble dryer — heat is what kills the elastic in the straps.

Free U.S. shipping and a 30-day return window, so you can measure your wrist, wear the brace for a few nights and send it back if the size or the hand is wrong.
